To get the best life out of your inkjet it is best to print something at least every few days. It does not have to be much -just a bit of coloured text will do. That stops the ink drying out in the micro nozzles. If the ink drys out you generally have to replace the heads and that costs about the same as a new printer. This applies more to older and low end models.
You can adjust the sensitivity in Control panels and Mouse.
First - the file must not be 'in use' in any program, eg. not open in the word processor.
Second - navigate to the folder with the files via MY Documents.
Third - right click on the file and left click delete.
Four - to take it right off your computer, go into the recycle bin and Empty the Trash.

For secure use of chat rooms, I would suggest you go to mail.yahoo.com or hotmail.com and make an email acoount. Give the minimum information and be vague where possible, eg your birthdate does not need to be correct and your name could be fanciful. Then go to http://my.msn.com [don't sign up for a little know chat room] and make a new account using the email address you just made. Don't use any 'real' information in this sign up that could be used to identify you. Choose a user name that you don't mind being called eg mazda82 or whatever. This will make you difficult to track down by stalkers but not the police. The other thing to keep in mind is that evil people are cunning at asking questions that might give useful information when put together. The one example was a child pervert who asked a girl's hair colour and then team name and identified her at practice. However, this type of behaviour is a very very small part of the chat experience.
Right click on the header (in the top list of emails) and and down the bottom of the list is ADD SENDER TO ADDRESS BOOK. Left click on that.
In compose mode ie writing the email Drag over the text you want to colour, click on the A in the tool bar directly above the message area [B I U A}
You can write letters with a program called WORDPAD which comes with Windows XP. It is a very simple word processor and is straight forward to use. You can start this by START; PROGRAMS; ACCESSORIES; Wordpad. There are many advanced wordprocessor/layout programs which range in price from free to $1000's. As with all computer activities, the result you want will determine what is best for you.
Most likely you have tried to open a file that is not a test file for the program you are using. For example you have opened an image file which uses a different type of coding.
